He is also a member of the Rawalpindi / Islamabad Tax Bar Association, the Small Medium Practices Committee and the Publications Committee and the Practice Support Committee of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan.

Aneel has 17 years of international professional experience, working with PwC Pakistan (A.F. Ferguson & Co.,) and E.Y (Middle East North Africa) providing assurance and advisory services to some of the largest organizations in the Middle East and Pakistan. He has managed and led numerous tax and corporate compliance, capability enhancement, internal / external audits, enterprise risk assessments & management, business process review & design, corporate governance review & framework development and fraud & money laundering investigations for some of the largest organizations in the Middle East and Pakistan.

He also worked with E.Y’s Oil and Gas Centre of Excellence in Bahrain with focus on business development, internal audits, enterprise risk management and process improvement for the Middle East North Africa (MENA) clients. Mr. Muhammad Adil, ACA, ICAEW, has been working with us since above decade and has been passed and got the membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants England and Wales, (ICAEW)in November 2020, and is serving as Manager Audit in the Firm. His remarkable achievements, experience and abilities in the I.T. sector as a youngest CISA qualified person, is a very important combination of this new era, where the life without I.T. and automation gets pearlized.

2. Adnan Sheikh

Adnan Sheikh is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan, having more than 15 years of post-qualification experience in leading and developing successful teams in finance and internal audit functions. Strong background in financial & business management, strategic planning, and policies & procedural development.

During his professional career, he had a strategic role in the overall management of sizeable organizations which included overseeing & supervising the entire finance, internal audit, income tax, payroll, treasury & vendor relations functions.

Mr. Atiq A. Mahmudi is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan and a Law Graduate. He has over 47 years of diversified experience working as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Internal Auditor, Chief Information Officer and Company Secretary with local and foreign companies, including 27 years with Jubilee General Insurance Company Limited. He was also the Managing Partner of a firm of Chartered Accountants for over 7 years.

Mr. Mahmudi has secured Best Corporate Leadership Award consecutively for two years organized by the Mass Human Resource Service with the support of Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan and Pakistan Stock Exchanges.

Mr. Hafeez Farooq, FCMA

He has over twenty years of post-qualification experience of various national and international organizations with monitoring/ performing of internal audits, costing systems, deep analysis of variances in cost elements for certain manufacturing entities, enterprise risk management systems, book-keeping and accounting information system analysis.

He has a rich experience of special audits, management audits and had worked with Chartered Accountants firms on various special audit assignments and worked as Chief Internal Auditor of Thatta Cement Ltd, Sindh Pakistan. He has worked with RAK Petroleum, PCL U.A.E supervising planning, and budgeting function.

He also has experience of small and medium-size entities for development and implementation of SOPs for various clients and partnered with CEO and strategic management in developing strategic planning for cost controlling, expense allocation, and revenue forecasting to increase market share, sustain profit and improve liquidity for various processing companies in the Middle East and in Pakistan.

Muhammad Kashif Siddiqee – FCA

A Fellow Chartered Accountant from BDO Pakistan with an extensive and diverse experience of more than 15 years coupled with an in-depth knowledge of the insurance & corporate laws, regulatory practices and the recent changes in the international accounting and financial reporting standards specially pertaining to the Insurance and Takaful Sector.

He is also a fellow member Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants. He is Certified Internal Control Auditor (CICA) from US. He has completed his Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) from Center for Islamic Education (CIE), Dar ul Uloom, Karachi in Islamic Banking, Finance and Takaful. He is Certified Sharia Compliance Auditor from Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center, Karachi.

He is faculty member of Center of Islamic Education (Dar-ul-uloom, Karachi, Bait-ul

-Mukarram Campus) for Takaful Courses pertaining to the areas of Takaful Legal Compliance and Takaful Accounting. He also has been visiting as a guest speaker in the Institute of Business Managements (IoBM) Karachi, for conducting the Takaful Course in aforesaid areas to MBA students. 

Kashif served as a Joint Director, initially in the Enforcement Department, Islamabad and then Insurance Division, Karachi as a Head of the Supervision Wing of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan for more than 6 years. He played a leading role in the formulating and drafting of the Takaful Rules, 2012, which were promulgated in the month of July 2012.

Mufti Ehsan Waqar

Mufti Ehsan is among the few scholars who possess a unique combination of religious and contemporary education. He has strong communication skills with fluency in several languages. He graduated as a Mufti, achieving Masters in Traditional Islamic Studies. Later he accomplished Masters in Economics and Masters in Business Administration with majors in Finance. Currently he is pursuing Bachelors in Law. This unique blend of educational combination gives him an edge upon many others to understand, correlate and align modern day banking practices with Sharia principles.

He has served Islamic Financial Industry with institutions like Emirates Global Islamic Bank now Albaraka Bank Pakistan, UBL and Yasaar Ltd, where he worked on developing and advising Liability, Asset, Trade Finance and Treasury Products. He has also advised and developed Sukuk structures in Pakistan. He has been involved in advising and research with the Islamic  financial industry globally.

Currently he is advising Pakistan’s largest Bank, National Bank of Pakistan. Mufti Ehsan is also a member of the Technical Committee for Developing Accounting & Auditing Standard for Islamic Financial Institution at Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) and member Islamic Capital Market Development Committee at KSE. To date the committee has developed accounting standards on Murabaha, Ijarah and Profit and Loss sharing on Deposits. He has also been nominated as a sub-committee member for developing Reporting Framework for Presentation of Financial Statements for Islamic Financial Institutions.

As member of Sharia Advisers Forum at State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) he also work actively with SBP and has been nominated to several sub-committees formed by the SBP Sharia Board for Islamic Banking matters in Pakistan, including committee for Sharia Standard on Shairkat-ul-Milk, Tawarruq, Commodity Murabaha, Treasury, Trade Finance and Agricultural Financing Products.

He has completed Shadat- ul-Aalmia Certificate in Arabic and Islamic Studies from the same Jamia.

Muhammad Samiullah

Modaraba Specialist

Mr. Samiullah holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Islamic Banking, Finance & Takaful from Darul Uloom, Karachi. He also holds a Master’s degree in Economics from Karachi University; Diploma from Institute of Bankers in Pakistan and he is also a Law Graduate. By profession he is a banker and has worked in Habib Bank Limited (HBL) in different disciplines for about 27 years. His last posting in HBL was as Vice President & Company Secretary, First Habib Bank Modaraba. He also officiated as Chief Executive of First Habib Bank Modaraba for quite some time.

He is currently associated with NBFI & Modaraba Association of Pakistan as its Secretary General. From the platform of the Association, he has organized a number of workshops/seminars on different topics relating to the NBFI and Modaraba Sectors.

Sami is an active Member of FPCCI Standing Committee for Islamic Banking & Takaful. He is also a Member of Arbitration Panel of Karachi Stock Exchange.
