Muhammad Kamran Khan

Muhammad Kamran Khan

Director

He is a qualified Chartered Accountant from ICAP Pakistan and CPA from Australia. He has multi- dimensional experience and has held key positions in different groups of companies. His vast experience will be highly beneficial for business advisory services to our esteemed clients.

Being a finance executive is more than just having strong knowledge of accounting and financial concepts. It requires gaining insight into how an entire company and its industry work, so we can lead and drive profitability and competitive edge. It means wearing many hats, thinking strategically about investments, and working closely with every department of the company. It is a cog in the wheel that keeps a company running on a day-to-day basis, aligned with strategic initiatives.

As a CPA-certified Head of Finance, he saved time and money for family-owned, listed global giants and multinational companies by building critical financial and operational infrastructure, supporting Boards and executives with new business acquisitions and complex integrations, and implementing robust controls to drive market expansion.

Here is a reflection of how he has driven growth and change profitably:

Commercial Growth

  • Worked closely to boost profitability by reviewing processes, strategies, finance, and resource utilization.
  • Partnered with the MD in the growth of the business by acquiring and establishing new businesses while improving the profitability of existing ones.
  • Partnered with the CEO and ELT in developing a 3-year strategic growth plan to increase market share, sustain profit, and improve liquidity.

Financial Governance

  • Managed foreign exchange risk and related costs through robust hedging practices and reduced fuel costs by implementing the inter-industry practice of claiming FTC.
  • Improved cash flow by reducing receivables and aligning outflows with seasonal inflows through robust cash flow forecasting and planning.
  • Increased return on investment in debtors by revising credit days based on customer profitability.
  • Maintained profitability during the growth phase by implementing strict cost control.

One of the greatest and most challenging elements of being a finance leader is leveraging technology (existing and emerging) to find the right-fit solutions to improve internal controls, decision-making, and reporting.
