WHO WE ARE
S.M. Suhail & Co., Chartered Accountants (the SMSCo, the Firm), was established on November 1, 1983, under the Chartered Accountants Ordinance, 1961. The firm was initially founded by a senior partner who offered professional services under his own name. Over time, additional partners joined the firm through formal partnership agreements, each contributing their unique expertise and experience to its growth.
Since its inception, SMSCO has steadily expanded its professional scope and capabilities, earning recognition from key regulatory bodies, Government and Semi-Government institutions, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (the ICAP), and global professional networks.
Today, SMSCO operates from seven offices—four within Pakistan and three international locations – reflecting its sustained growth and evolving presence in both local and international markets.

S.M. Suhail & Co. Chartered Accountants is in compliance with all Professional Code of Ethics issued by the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP).
OUR RECOGNITIONS
- Enlisted with the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on the panel of Auditors.
- Enlisted with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as an approved Auditor for conducting Audits of all Regulated / Licensed Companies, including Insurance, Takaful, Securities, NBFCs, Investment, Commodities, Futures Brokers, etc.
- Enlisted with the Audit Oversight Board (AOB), who monitor the audits of the Public Interest Companies.
- Enlisted with the Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (CDC) as their approved agents for performing compliance engagements.
- Enlisted on the Panel of Auditors of Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) and the
- Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) for the system audits.
